Here we will be recapping what has happened over the week, sharing some of our favourite clips, interviews, tweets (Yeontan watch anyone?) or compilation videos. And you can help us too, send in your favourite BTS moment, or interviews. You may think, it's already been seen by everyone... absolutely not the case. There are always new discoveries with BTS.

Carrying on from last week, who watched BTS on Jimmy Fallon? They were like a match made in heaven, both BTS and Jimmy are adorable and dorky together; and was one of the better appearances on US TV.
They all played around attempting the Fortnite dance challenge:

Spending the day together seemed to help both BTS and Jimmy bond so that the interview was more easy going, and they seemed to genuinely like each other.
The following morning they appeared on GMA (Good Morning America) exposing them to their largest audience to date.
The GMA anchors evidently did their research as they talked of ARMY's dedication to not only BTS' music, but also their message of self love, and the UN address.
Both Robin and Michael (the anchors) were welcoming and appreciative of their work. Robin positively glowed as she watched Jungkook answer a question successfully in English, knowing that he was not fluent.
BTS then closed out the show by performing IDOL:
At the end of the show 2 young fans met BTS and their reaction was beautiful as they grabbed onto the group, disbelieving their luck at meetings their idols. Ella, 9yr old, was in tears at meeting them and would not let go of her bias Jimin.

As their 2 dates at Newark's Prudential Center come to an end, they move onto Chicago for 2 dates at the United Center and then their biggest venue yet in the US, Citi Field Stadium on 6th October which according to Powerhouse Live has an estimated capacity of 40,000.

And from what was uploaded on BANGTANTV on YouTube today, we found out they are from after the Newark concert. How do we know? Because Jungkook blessed us with a G.C.F in Newark (VHS version)!
I expect nothing less than genius from Jungkook, but it's the subtle details where he excels. Filmed in VHS style the piece made me feel as though I was watching an old home video, bringing out the nostalgia in years gone by. J-Hope and JK also tweeted a video of them enjoying dinner at the 'Signature Room' in Chicago, where eagle-eyed ARMY's have noticed that they had ordered a 'Seafood Tower' priced at $115. Our boys work hard, so they deserve it. (Twitter: @BTSinformations)

With ticketing and re-seller sites getting an overhaul, things will be better next time, fingers crossed.

Well, yesterday was emotional to say the least... but let's recap the week first.

Meanwhile BTS had a super 3 days on their Canada leg of the tour. Everyone in Hamilton has been raving about how amazing their performances were. We got Namjoon joking and making puns, Jungkook roping in the other members in doing the shoot dance with him, Jin's forehead 😵not to mention flirty, and wild performances.
They have also enjoyed visiting places in Canada:

Monday 24th September brought BTS their most important stage of all, an address in front of dignitaries at the 73rd UN Assembly to launch Generation Unlimited, an initiative that aims to help give quality education and have in employment all young people by the year 2030.
Taking front and centre, Namjoon represented BTS, with his members supporting him and standing behind him, he began his address. Not outwardly nervous, apart from a little shakey hands, he spoke articulately, and with conviction. His words resonated not only with the young generation but those who were also older. His speech was personal, and emotional and gained much admiration not only from BTS ARMY, but also many who had no idea who they were.

Promotions ended on the 2nd of September with their performances on Inkigayo where they got their 2nd win for IDOL
Jungkook met with his Celebrity Bromance hyung Minwoo from Shinwa who were also promoting their comeback. And Jin showed off his newly darkened hair. I miss Blonde Jin already.
BTS received the Artist Award from the 45th Korean Broadcasting Award, this award is judged by 24 industry insiders this is their 2nd consecutive win.
Namjoon promised a vlive and he delivered. I live for his album review. He always tells us his thoughts behind how the songs are set out or recorded. And some solo stans need to process the information he gives and understand it before they go about sprouting hatred like the non fans that they are.

Billboard results came out yesterday, BTS landed a 2nd number 1 album on Billboard 200 Chart.

@hopekidoki posted this picture from outside Grammy's Museum about the BTS conversation that they will be hosting.

Army's were left waiting at LAX as BTS left the airport via a private exit, some disgruntled 'fans' made comments... this Army just cackled with glee, (I'm not sorry). BTS' safety is paramount, and they don't owe us an explanation for who, why, where or how they travel.
Shout out to @LA_APS_4BTS and decoy Army's who performed a feat that Oceans 11 would be proud of!
And finally amid news that BigHit will be moving to larger premises yet again... we can celebrate IDOL debuting on the Billboard Hot 100 at no.11

J-Hope tweeted on the 17th about not having abs, that it may take a while to build them up so he can show them, this is in reference to him promising to show abs for reaching 10 million followers on V App. How pressured must he have been feeling to actually go on Twitter to apologise for it! It again ties in with the concept photo's. I'm proud that ARMY's in response trended the hashtag #복근_없어도되요_제이홉만_있으면되요

We got some more snaps from Malta, Jin looking blonde and beautiful, a cute unfocused one of Jin and Yoongi, he doesn't like capitalism but fulfils his commitment of promoting BT21 in the most discreet way he knows. And of course Namjoon's pictures are gorgeous as always.

LOVE YOURSELF 結 Answer 'Epiphany' Comeback Trailer arrived, and slayed completely. Epiphany gets you with its 1st line; a beautiful song with a melodic rock undertone, it suits Jin to a T. About self reflection, it affects you immediately, it made me look inwards and left me with the realisation of just how much I have left to travel to accept myself as I am. If you haven't heard it yet, I have to ask... what are you waiting for!?

In other news, BTS has been nominated for the Order of Cultural Merit by the Ministry of Culture, Sports & Tourism. Thought to be an honour to even be considered this is awarded by the President of South Korea to those who have achieved outstanding performance, and greatly contributing to the development of Hallyu, Korea's media and art scene.; it recognises their activities in the Japanese, US and other markets as well as their domestic ones. They are not only the youngest ever nominees, but no other group has ever been nominated before.
Hold your breath people, the 1st set of concept photos dropped on Monday 13th August!
Giving off Orwellian vibes the concept photos for S make for uncomfortable viewing. With hands grabbing, eyes always watching, CCTV always monitoring; it could be commentary on their life constantly under scrutiny. Big Brother enjoying the cult of personality are BTS about to rebel against media and public manipulation? Other theories point towards South Korea's widespread problem of molka, hidden spy cam pornography. Just recently, June 2018, thousands of women dressed in red, black and white, gathered in Seoul to protest against this ongoing problem. It was considered the largest women-led protest in South Korea's history, ever.
The second set of pictures from E may look ethereal and angelic, but we all know that BTS doesn't just do aesthetics. The group picture shows them as though they are shoved away in a storage box. With strings tied around their hands, are they puppets to be controlled? If you look closely you may even notice the broken key from a windup toy. Are they in the globes to protect themselves, or are they isolated and trapped, on show for the world to see. Pretty ornaments constantly on display?
The setting for E seems to be inspired by the ghost town of Kolmannskuppe which was a small German mining town in Namibia, now abandoned. It is isolated and lonely, and yet gives off a feeling claustrophobia.
While the concepts and imagery are uncomfortable, the outfits are inspired, and to me, give off a new romantics feel reminiscent of Spandau Ballet and Duran Duran (a band that Bang P.D is a huge fan of) just check out their MV for Perfect Day and you can see how heavily the 'S' photos are inspired by it. Meanwhile the 'E' photos remind me very much of fantasy and fairies, Jimin's earrings, the fantastical elements with then trapped in the globes are quite reminiscent of The Labyrinth. As a Brit it gives me a thrill to see all the nods towards this era, and the rock sounds that we have been getting recently. Bring on Answer!
Don't wait for any concept pictures or promotional items to drop today, as it is Liberation Day in Korea.
And lastly, Congratulations to BTS' wins at the Teen Choice awards. and for breaking Justin Bieber's record of having the most consecutive weeks at being no.1 on the Billboard Social 50! Don't drop the ball now Army!

How is it that July is already over? Tempus Fugit!
Tomorrow is August which means just over 3 weeks and LY:Answer will be out. Will we get answers or more questions? Theorists are working overtime, and people like me are reading each one and thinking 'that makes so much sense!' and then getting confused all over again.
Send me your favourite theories, I need a little more confused clarity. 😆
Unfortunately there's no Run BTS to look forward to this week, because it was the end of series 2 last Tuesday.
The episode started off well, BTS singing Karaoke, Yoongi being worried he didn't know the songs, the dancing, destructive Namjoon, air guitar, and the rainbow wig making a reappearance. The karaoke ends with unexpected winners who got out of cleaning up. I just need to say I need more rap line singing, and a rock themed BTS.
The 1st half made me smile so much, but then, came the poems. Keep tissues handy!
What I found, was that their poems were an extension of their personalities. If you didn't know who had written them you would be able to tell just by what they wrote.

What else did we get? Oh yeah... only G.C.F in Saipan!!! I think we were expecting something since Jungkook posted a clip of Jimin's dancing, but not so soon after the USA one.
Short but sweet, it leaves you wanting more. Ah it was beautiful, the location was gorgeous, his hyungs were gorgeous, the song was gorgeous! The boy is so talented, you can see the blossoming director in him. Each scene is thought about, and he is always improving; perhaps one day we may get a Jungkook directed MV? I hope so!
Another milestone set... BTS' Vlive following has reached 10 Million! You know what that means!? BTS has the largest Vlive following on the app that's all.
Naver congratulated BTS in their own way by lighting up their building.
Namjoon was fairly interactive on Fancafe posting New Song, choreography fighting! This is a diary. I'll work hard
But that's not all, he also replied to fan messages. One fan sent him pictures of fish and his reply was - I hate fish but I love fish! Another asked if he was asleep and to that he wrote - No I'm not, I'm replying to you. 🤣
Meanwhile there was an OT7 fansite exhibition in Cebu, Philipphines. While waiting, Army's sang as they waved lightsticks. One of these songs was Magic Shop, it was beautiful and serves as a tiny glimpse as to what it may sound like when we sing it at the Love Yourself concerts. Speaking of concerts, they have announced some dates for the Japanese leg of their tour and they are all Dome venues, including Tokyo Dome which is a HUGE deal.
Home to the Yomiuri Giants baseball team, the venue is used for concerts of the most popular artists. According to the website www.japanconcerttickets.com the venue has a capacity of 46,000 for baseball games, and 70,000 people for concerts; and BTS will be performing 2 nights there!

While some of you in the UK may have been quietly watching The Last Leg on Channel 4 last Friday night, were probably shocked when suddenly our Hope, JHope suddenly appeared on UK terrestrial TV!
During the last segment of the show Josh Widdicombe presents a round up of some clips that he's seen, and last week it was the #InMyFeelingsChallenge. You can see this recording by @BTSUKUNITE on Twitter.
I can tell you it was a thrill to see him. I mayhaps (new lingo I just learnt) have let out a tiny shriek, and immediately pressed record for plus 1!

How has everyone been this past week? Enjoying the warm weather? Excited about Answer? Or lamenting the fact that you're broke and BIGHIT is announcing releases left right and centre?! I know I am.
Namjoon uploaded a 4x4 after a looong time, Jin has been out and about with his friend, Sandeul. KAWS has come to Seoul and JHope and Namjoon paid it a visit. Jimin posted a cute filtered selfie on twitter, Hobi released 2 short clips on 23rd July, this one shows him sporting a couple of "tattoos" on either side of his neck, the sun and the moon. I have noticed that the exhibition pictures also have the sun and moon in their tags, WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Congratulations to manager Hobeom who got married on the 20th of July. BTS were present to support their manager who has been with them since their debut. Singing DNA, they even did a fanchant with his name, and pulled him up on stage to dance!
The boys have been a bit more active on Fancafe, mainly telling people to take care in the hot weather. Taehyung complaining about how Yeontan was only eating desserts and not his regular food. However one post caught many people's eyes; posted on the 22nd, an ARMY wrote about how they felt their world was collapsing due to a break-up.
Namjoon in his own thoughtful and caring way replied, "It must be really hard for you. Saying goodbyes are the one thing everyone is bad at. I want to hug you tightly. Thanks for hanging in there". - Translated by @btscfe on Twitter.
Steve Aoki promised a The Truth Untold remix at the biggest EDM festival and boy did he deliver. Unveiling it during his closing set at Tomorrowland, it gave Army's a thrill to hear BTS at such a huge event. Many tuned in to the live stream from all over the world to hear the snippet and a shout-out to them. Army's obviously did what they do best, and it trended worldwide at no.1 with over 180k mentions! But he didn't stop there, being the fanboy that he is he also played a remix of his own Mic Drop remix.
Meanwhile @bighit_exhibition is insisting on attacking Army's with these gorgeously aesthetic images, keep an eye out for more!

Well this past week has been eventful! More on that later though.

BTS have been relatively quiet on Twitter, Namjoon has posted some Kim Daily pictures, looking as gorgeous as ever, and given a song recommendation via RM Music; his recommendation is Billie Eilish - Idontwannabeyouanymore. Let us know, have you heard it? What did you think?
Most Armys will know by now that 5th Army membership photos and videos were uploaded by those who had already received their kits; despite warnings from BigHit. Well obviously it was appreciated by those who couldn't afford or weren't able to buy membership, and in their excitement, not only retweeted everything, but also tagged BIGHIT! So of course the consequences were that these posts were blocked for a month and the videos were taken down, people who paid for this exclusive content were not happy. BigHit has said that videos will be re-uploaded once all membership kits were sent out.

Some Armys voiced their displeasure, not in a great way. Being derogatory towards those who don't have the economic capacity to buy something that you can is not the way of Army.
On top of this there have been remarks about our Armys of colour. Excuses have been made of this being started by anti's; but it doesn't change the fact that there is a problem within the fandom. And sweeping it under the rug or telling those affected to ignore it wont solve the issue. We army's must unite and take a stand to say we will not tolerate discrimination of any type within our fandom. Discrimination is against everything BTS stands for, it is against everything they work towards. in an effort to bring awareness to those affected several hashtags trended on twitter, including - #karmy인종차별, #ARMYAgainstRacism, & #ARMYUnite
One wonders whether BTS became aware of the issue? Taehyung took to fancafe on 16th July 2018 to first give thanks for 1 million fancafe followers, the highest of any group on the platform. But then he also added:
Do you know what purple means? Purple is the last colour of the rainbow! It means that we should love, trust, protect each other for the rest of our lives forever! That's why I purple you.

I completely understand the want & need to support your favourite artist/group. It's uplifting; not only to the person you are a fan of, but to the other fans that support that person also. Fans and their fandom support each other, help each other when they are feeling down and have each others back. It's almost perfect....

While BTS have been quiet on Twitter, BANGTANTV has uploaded several videos on their Youtube channel. These have included behind the scenes of their comeback stage, Anpanman performance, and prom party unit stage rehearsals.
This one was uploaded yesterday, 16th July 2018. The Unit stage rehearsal of Tae and Jin's performance of "Even If I Die, It's You".
Some of you may not realise that all this happened during the time that Jin's grandmother had passed away. The 2nd clip in the video is at the show recording of Fake Love, he found out about her death just after the recording and had left before the end of the show.
I have huge respect for Jin, he showed his professionalism, and his strength of character. Losing someone close is a devastating experience, and you can see it in his demeanour when he returned for rehearsals. But he showed just how disciplined he is and his dignity as a person, not only during the rehearsals but in the fabulous performance he did.
And Kudos to the Maknae's for cheering him up, their love for him shows in everything.
Guess what else was uploaded on YouTube? That's right... we got another G.C.F Armys! This time Jungkook spoilt us with a G.C.F in USA.
Featuring all his hyungs, you can see the continuous improvement and skills in his video editing that many will aspire to. Combining beautiful aesthetics, superb choice in music, (he used "When we were young" by Lost Kings), you can see that thought went into choosing the song, how it perfectly fits with the clips. You can appreciate how he takes the time, honing his skills as an editor; it is meticulous and considered. We saw the world and BTS through his eyes. Simply being themselves, carefree, simple, quirky, and sometimes tired; Jungkook expresses the love he has for his hyungs by showing us how he sees them. I'm NOT emotional, someone is just cutting onions.

BTS will be releasing a repackaged album in August. The album sales will count separately to LY:Tear. There will be a comeback track, but due to release date it will not be promoted at the music shows. Instead the new song and choreography will be introduced at their 1st concert date.
The comeback album is called LOVE YOURSELF 结 Answer, and is to be released on 24th August 2018; a day before they start their Love Yourself world tour on 25th August at Seoul Jamsil Olympic Stadium; pre orders start from tomorrow 18th July 2018.

There are 4 versions of the album... we kind of guessed, to complete LOVE YOUR SELF
4 versions of the photobooks, 4 versions of a mini book, 28 photocards (for the collectors), 1 special photocard, each album will have 2 cd's, 1 sticker pack, and poster.

Monday 24th September brought BTS their most important stage of all, an address in front of dignitaries at the 73rd UN Assembly to launch Generation Unlimited, an initiative that aims to help give quality education and have in employment all young people by the year 2030.
Taking front and centre, Namjoon represented BTS, with his members supporting him and standing behind him, he began his address. Not outwardly nervous, apart from a little shakey hands, he spoke articulately, and with conviction. His words resonated not only with the young generation but those who were also older. His speech was personal, and emotional and gained much admiration not only from BTS ARMY, but also many who had no idea who they were.

It seems like we wont be getting any G.C.F for Europe 😭 as Jungkook has said that he hasn't taken his film camera with him this time, but his normal one. Instead we can hope to see some great G.C.P's (photo's) like these ones he uploaded...

The boys are well into their Love Yourself concert now having completed the 4 dates they had at the Staples Center in LA.
They also live streamed a few seconds from one of the concerts... will they get in trouble for doing that? I hope they don't removed from the venue!
They now move onto Sunny Cali for their Oracle Arena, Oakland date tomorrow (12th September).
Before that they have the Grammy Museum event and will be performing on America's Got Talent! AGT is even counting down the days...
This is a massive opportunity that has appeared for them... it means practically the whole of America is watching them. Exciting times Armys!

Soooo, how has your week been? Mine has been pretty good, you know why? BTS IN THE UK CHARTS BABY!

BTS went on vlive on the 29th August for Behind the anSwer to launch the album, they introduced their solos, played game and of course hilarity follows whenever they mess up the rules!
There was some Jimin and Khalid interaction on Twitter when Khalid posted a screenshot of him listening to Serendipity with the status 'I can’t stop playing this @BTS_twt sooooo good' - @thegreatkhalid
Jimin replied with 'Thank you'
They also uploaded a couple of short videos of Jimin and Jungkook joining J-Hope in the IDOL challenge. You can watch them on Twitter: @BTS_twt
Their 4 day promotions of IDOL on the music shows started on August 30th. Beginning with M Countdown; they performed IDOL and Save Me/I'm Fine.
Later that evening BTS attended the 2018 Soribada Best K-music Awards where they performed IDOL:
The following day BTS performed at Music Bank where IDOL got its 1st win!
After the show they went to visit the BTS exhibition which opened on 25th of August; and did a vlive from there. Explaining the exhibition, they were really out there breaking the rules by taking photos and touching the exhibits. Tae even drew arrows in the mirror maze so that people wouldn't get lost!
They later tweeted the photos/ videos they had taken.
September 1st was Jungkook's 21st Birthday! (21st birthday internationally, he turned 22 in Korea) His hyungs lovingly shared some videos, messages and interesting pictures of the Golden Maknae.
And what a fab double celebration that on his 21st birthday our beautiful Bangtan made history by entering the Official UK Charts at no.21 making them the first ever Kpop group to chart on the UK Top 40. Some of you may or may not have remembered that last time they were there Jimin had written the members names on a board, but in his rush missed out Tae's; he even tweeted about it straight away apologising to Tae that it was a mistake and next time they were there he would write his name twice to make up for it. Many Tae fans gave him unwarranted hate for this. Anyone who is an army knows how great their friendship is and that he would have never purposely missed it out. Well Jimin remembers his promises, and did what he said he would.

Billboard results came out yesterday, BTS landed a 2nd number 1 album on Billboard 200 Chart.
Jungkook's brother posted a drawing on his instagram congratulating them #1 on the Billboard 200
Army's were left waiting at LAX as BTS left the airport via a private exit, some disgruntled 'fans' made comments... this Army just cackled with glee, (I'm not sorry). BTS' safety is paramount, and they don't owe us an explanation for who, why, where or how they travel.

Giving an emotionally charged performance their 1st day in Seoul, the show starts off with a bang. In attendance were Tae's Hwarang Hyungs, there to support their maknae.
Each member performed their solo's from the album, as well as medley's of their older hits. The concert ends with an uplifting rendition of Love Yourself. Hold your breath Army's because the Love Yourself concerts are going to end us all. I cannot wait!
The 2nd day of the concert was a rainy one, but Army's spoke of how the rain stopped before the concert started, and then restarted when the concert ended.

There is just sooo much to see, with so much going on this Army probably watched it several hundred times on the day just to get what was in it. A diss track that tells their detractors We don't care, We will do what we do, and we do it for ourselves. Don't care what you say, "you can't stop me loving myself!"

The album in itself is amazing. You can really hear their growth in the lyrics. How they have taken on everything that has happened to them and have now moved on. They are now in a happier place and you can hear it in the songs.
We finally get full lengths of Euphoria, Serendipity, and Epiphany. We also got a collaboration with Nicki Minaj!
It was being hinted at, rumours started when some people Shazamed the teaser and it showed up BTS featuring Nicki Minaj, which was quickly deleted.
BTS didn't rest on their laurels though, their LY tour started the very next day, and they were rehearsing from the get go.

BTS posted more holiday snaps and videos on Twitter. This one shows our Mr. Worldwide Handsome Jin wake-boarding. He's a natural!
Taehyung posted a short video from behind the scenes of the 'S' version jacket shoot.
That jacket is amazing and suits Taehyung completely.
Meanwhile Jimin released some photo's from the same photo shoot.
I thought those globes were CGI, they really used actual props! They don't do things by half... not many do nowadays. Total respect to them.
On the 16th BTS posted a link to Nicki Minaj's new album with the caption "Love Nicki's new album" speculation is rife as to WHO actually posted it. RM usually posts screenshots and signs off on them, leaves us with 6 other suspects!
Nicki responded in kind and said how much she loves them. Calls for a collaboration are already all over Twitter.
Congratulations to our boys and their YouTube channel BANGTAN TV.
YouTube has sent them their DIAMOND plaque for surpassing 10 Million subscribers.
Many were expecting more concept photo's today, but considering how active Jimin has been on Twitter today; I think maybe not.

'L' version
At first glance the pictures made me think 'oh look, they are super cute' but something seemed 'off' about them, If these pictures are so cute why do they leave me with an uneasy feeling? The more I looked at them, the more uncomfortable I felt. It wasn't until I took a closer look at Jimin's that I realised; his coloured side showed him forcing a smile onto his face, while his B&W side showed him confused or perplexed?
They are showing a side of themselves to the public. Again, always on show. They have to act a certain way, look a certain way, never be themselves.
'F' version
This set of photo's again on the surface make you think one way, but leave you feeling uneasy. They are dressed in colourful casual clothes. Hanging out in a playground as children would. If they are in such a fun place, where they should be carefree, why are they so expressionless. Again they are on show for the world; being told what to do, what to say, how to look. Not themselves. And certainly not free.
The whole set of photo's is representative of the world they are living in. Enclosed, claustrophobic, of their own making to a certain extent, but one that we perpetuate; one that we feed every time we want content, each time we wait for uploads or tweets. And I don't know about the rest of you, but I can't look at them without the feeling of guilt.
*update - I have seen some theories floating around on Twitter regarding the 'L' photo's. Some people have zoomed in on BTS' eyes on the colour side and have noticed a red dot. Now a professional photographer would have removed that dot in post production, which means that it was left there intentionally. And these theories (in my opinion correct ones) say that these red dots are of camera's watching/monitoring them. Which to my mind is further proof of my idea that they are on constant show. (Excuse me while I do a happy dance, I'm not a theorist - not that clever - but this one seemed to pan out! 😊)

Halsey is in Seoul and she paid BTS a visit and they gifted her some personalised chocolate. The chocolate is from an organisation called Beans & Berries, they are a social enterprise that employs people from vulnerable social groups such as people with disabilities, socially disadvantaged, and single parent families. Two thirds of the profit made by this company is used to help other small enterprises. Our social kings supporting those that support others.

LOVE YOURSELF 結 Answer 'Epiphany' Comeback Trailer arrived, and slayed completely. Epiphany gets you with its 1st line; a beautiful song with a melodic rock undertone, it suits Jin to a T. About self reflection, it affects you immediately, it made me look inwards and left me with the realisation of just how much I have left to travel to accept myself as I am. If you haven't heard it yet, I have to ask... what are you waiting for!?

BTS added another date to their US leg of the LY tour. Making history as the first K-Pop act to play a stadium in the US. Home of the New York Mets the Citi Field baseball park has a capacity in excess of 40,000.

Giving off Orwellian vibes the concept photos for S make for uncomfortable viewing. With hands grabbing, eyes always watching, CCTV always monitoring; it could be commentary on their life constantly under scrutiny. Big Brother enjoying the cult of personality are BTS about to rebel against media and public manipulation? Other theories point towards South Korea's widespread problem of molka, hidden spy cam pornography. Just recently, June 2018, thousands of women dressed in red, black and white, gathered in Seoul to protest against this ongoing problem. It was considered the largest women-led protest in South Korea's history, ever.
Don't wait for any concept pictures or promotional items to drop today, as it is Liberation Day in Korea.
And lastly, Congratulations to BTS' wins at the Teen Choice awards. and for breaking Justin Bieber's record of having the most consecutive weeks at being no.1 on the Billboard Social 50! Don't drop the ball now Army!

How is it that July is already over? Tempus Fugit!
Tomorrow is August which means just over 3 weeks and LY:Answer will be out. Will we get answers or more questions? Theorists are working overtime, and people like me are reading each one and thinking 'that makes so much sense!' and then getting confused all over again.
Send me your favourite theories, I need a little more confused clarity. 😆
Unfortunately there's no Run BTS to look forward to this week, because it was the end of series 2 last Tuesday.
The episode started off well, BTS singing Karaoke, Yoongi being worried he didn't know the songs, the dancing, destructive Namjoon, air guitar, and the rainbow wig making a reappearance. The karaoke ends with unexpected winners who got out of cleaning up. I just need to say I need more rap line singing, and a rock themed BTS.
The 1st half made me smile so much, but then, came the poems. Keep tissues handy!
What I found, was that their poems were an extension of their personalities. If you didn't know who had written them you would be able to tell just by what they wrote.

They have been relatively quiet on Twitter. Jimin posted some pictures of his polaroids and made a cute BTS 💜 ARMY, and Yoongi posted a selfie. Those of you lucky enough to witness the Lunar eclipse were in good company as Namjoon posted a picture of it, as well as a streaky one... I am assuming he moved the camera as he was taking the shot.
Another milestone set... BTS' Vlive following has reached 10 Million! You know what that means!? BTS has the largest Vlive following on the app that's all.
Naver congratulated BTS in their own way by lighting up their building.
But that's not all, he also replied to fan messages. One fan sent him pictures of fish and his reply was - I hate fish but I love fish! Another asked if he was asleep and to that he wrote - No I'm not, I'm replying to you. 🤣
Meanwhile there was an OT7 fansite exhibition in Cebu, Philipphines. While waiting, Army's sang as they waved lightsticks. One of these songs was Magic Shop, it was beautiful and serves as a tiny glimpse as to what it may sound like when we sing it at the Love Yourself concerts. Speaking of concerts, they have announced some dates for the Japanese leg of their tour and they are all Dome venues, including Tokyo Dome which is a HUGE deal.

While some of you in the UK may have been quietly watching The Last Leg on Channel 4 last Friday night, were probably shocked when suddenly our Hope, JHope suddenly appeared on UK terrestrial TV!

How has everyone been this past week? Enjoying the warm weather? Excited about Answer? Or lamenting the fact that you're broke and BIGHIT is announcing releases left right and centre?! I know I am.
Namjoon uploaded a 4x4 after a looong time, Jin has been out and about with his friend, Sandeul. KAWS has come to Seoul and JHope and Namjoon paid it a visit. Jimin posted a cute filtered selfie on twitter, Hobi released 2 short clips on 23rd July, this one shows him sporting a couple of "tattoos" on either side of his neck, the sun and the moon. I have noticed that the exhibition pictures also have the sun and moon in their tags, WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

Steve Aoki promised a The Truth Untold remix at the biggest EDM festival and boy did he deliver. Unveiling it during his closing set at Tomorrowland, it gave Army's a thrill to hear BTS at such a huge event. Many tuned in to the live stream from all over the world to hear the snippet and a shout-out to them. Army's obviously did what they do best, and it trended worldwide at no.1 with over 180k mentions! But he didn't stop there, being the fanboy that he is he also played a remix of his own Mic Drop remix.

This was also brought to my attention today, according to the post BTS will be joined by 3 guest performers on tour! Army's seem to think its either Aoki, Desiigner or The Chainsmokers; time will tell.
I went out and bought this today; that's right... I went into Works and bought the BTS Army Handbook. My excuse? I'm going to give it to my 9 yr old niece who has just become Army! At £4 it didn't hit the bank balance too badly, and it's the only kpop merch I'll find in my little town! Overall it's not too bad, most of the information is correct, and is a handy guide for new Army's who are just starting out. It includes some quizzes in the back but I dont think I could bring myself to write in it.
And finally, if anyone knows the #InMyFeelingsChallenge then you'll know that our Hobi just won it hands down. No-one else need apply. Uploading a #HopeOnTheStreet on Twitter, he makes dancing look so effortless. Jung Hoseok, #HopeOnTheStreet, and Hobi were all trending worldwide. Well this past week has been eventful! More on that later though.

BTS have been relatively quiet on Twitter, Namjoon has posted some Kim Daily pictures, looking as gorgeous as ever, and given a song recommendation via RM Music; his recommendation is Billie Eilish - Idontwannabeyouanymore. Let us know, have you heard it? What did you think?

Some Armys voiced their displeasure, not in a great way. Being derogatory towards those who don't have the economic capacity to buy something that you can is not the way of Army.
On top of this there have been remarks about our Armys of colour. Excuses have been made of this being started by anti's; but it doesn't change the fact that there is a problem within the fandom. And sweeping it under the rug or telling those affected to ignore it wont solve the issue. We army's must unite and take a stand to say we will not tolerate discrimination of any type within our fandom. Discrimination is against everything BTS stands for, it is against everything they work towards. in an effort to bring awareness to those affected several hashtags trended on twitter, including - #karmy인종차별, #ARMYAgainstRacism, & #ARMYUnite
One wonders whether BTS became aware of the issue? Taehyung took to fancafe on 16th July 2018 to first give thanks for 1 million fancafe followers, the highest of any group on the platform. But then he also added:
Do you know what purple means? Purple is the last colour of the rainbow! It means that we should love, trust, protect each other for the rest of our lives forever! That's why I purple you.

I completely understand the want & need to support your favourite artist/group. It's uplifting; not only to the person you are a fan of, but to the other fans that support that person also. Fans and their fandom support each other, help each other when they are feeling down and have each others back. It's almost perfect....

While BTS have been quiet on Twitter, BANGTANTV has uploaded several videos on their Youtube channel. These have included behind the scenes of their comeback stage, Anpanman performance, and prom party unit stage rehearsals.
This one was uploaded yesterday, 16th July 2018. The Unit stage rehearsal of Tae and Jin's performance of "Even If I Die, It's You".
Some of you may not realise that all this happened during the time that Jin's grandmother had passed away. The 2nd clip in the video is at the show recording of Fake Love, he found out about her death just after the recording and had left before the end of the show.
And Kudos to the Maknae's for cheering him up, their love for him shows in everything.
Guess what else was uploaded on YouTube? That's right... we got another G.C.F Armys! This time Jungkook spoilt us with a G.C.F in USA.
Featuring all his hyungs, you can see the continuous improvement and skills in his video editing that many will aspire to. Combining beautiful aesthetics, superb choice in music, (he used "When we were young" by Lost Kings), you can see that thought went into choosing the song, how it perfectly fits with the clips. You can appreciate how he takes the time, honing his skills as an editor; it is meticulous and considered. We saw the world and BTS through his eyes. Simply being themselves, carefree, simple, quirky, and sometimes tired; Jungkook expresses the love he has for his hyungs by showing us how he sees them. I'm NOT emotional, someone is just cutting onions.

BTS will be releasing a repackaged album in August. The album sales will count separately to LY:Tear. There will be a comeback track, but due to release date it will not be promoted at the music shows. Instead the new song and choreography will be introduced at their 1st concert date.
The comeback album is called LOVE YOURSELF 结 Answer, and is to be released on 24th August 2018; a day before they start their Love Yourself world tour on 25th August at Seoul Jamsil Olympic Stadium; pre orders start from tomorrow 18th July 2018.
In addition to the existing songs, the album will also have 7 new songs. Army's are already speculating how many versions of the album will be released, whether fan favourite Euphoria will be on the album, and if the intro track will be Jin's.
Meanwhile this Army is lamenting the fact that her bank account is going to hate her even more!

Well, there has been some activity since last week, that being an understatement!
We've had tweets galore, bangtan bombs being dropped left, right and centre, a Super Concert in Taipei (more on that later) and not to mention Happy 5th Armyversary to ARMY's.
BTS have been very tweety... Hobi went on a lunch date with Kentaro Sakaguchi (that's the actor from Signal), Kim Daily has been back, as well as RM Music.
Jin and his suga gliders made an appearance, Jimin and his 4x4, Hobi under the sun, Tae in the middle of a road, winking Namjoon's, Yoongi looking angelic. Only Jungkook was missing from twitter, but he made a special appearance in Jimin's Fancafe post.
On the 6th of July the boys flew into Taipei for the SBS Super Concert, and there was mayhem.
The boys were followed, chased, grabbed at, harassed to so much so that even RM, the most patient of them, looked fed up. Having cameras shoved in your face after a long flight is the last thing anyone wants. Even Taehyung snapped, taking out his own phone and pretending to film one of these people, she didn't like it much as she skulked away. Armys were fed up of this kind of behaviour, calling for people to stop going to airports, to stop sharing airport photos, because lets face it, we are perpetuating the issue by viewing and sharing airport pictures. If there's no demand, then there will be no supply.
But, please make this distinction, the people who are harassing and shoving their phones in idols faces are not fansites. They are people who want bragging rights. Fansites use lenses that require them to be at a distance, which they respectfully keep.
Airport madness aside, BTS successfully completed their schedule in Taipei and returned back to Korea.
