The London concerts are literally days away, and with October weather being unpredictable (any British weather really) we want concert goers to be prepared in the event of rain or cold weather; and with this week's best finds we hope you will be just that.

Our 1st pick this week is this BTS umbrella from totemokawaiishop, priced at £10 plus p&p

These adorable acrylic charms can be used as keyrings or to jazz up your bag/backpacks etc. Designed by Yimei Zhu they are pretty and well made and suitable for anyone to use. You can buy each individual member or go for the whole set for 22 euros.

#ENDViolence #BTSLoveMyself Campaign

Hi everyone, thanks for joining us!
Today we wanted to talk about a project that has been on the down-low whilst the boys are on tour, but something we shouldn’t forget about; their LOVE MYSELF UNICEF campaign.


BTS has always been known for their selfless acts in encouraging living in a better place, whether it was within their lyrics or their music videos, and so when they joined with UNICEF in October of 2017, BTS began their journey to give back to society, with the motto of

“Find love in myself, embrace people and society in a larger sense with love.”
LOVE MYSELF is a collaboration between Big Hit Entertainment, BTS, and the Korean committee of UNICEF which was launched in November of 2017. As sponsors of #ENDViolence, a campaign to globally tackle violence against children and teenagers; BTS’ contribution to this featured the LOVE MYSELF series, with the hope that the band can spread love and encourage a better, more peaceful place for everyone to live in. As of right now, it is unclear as to how long this campaigns will last for, but BTS have made it clear that it will last for at least the next two years, as well as their contributions to the  #ENDViolence campaign.
ARMYs around the world have done so much to spread this message of love and support, raising money in order for BTS to be able to give back to those in need, and it’s amazing to see how such a crucial cause can unite us all. The money that is raised through this campaign is currently being used to protect and support child and teen victims of domestic and violence in schools,  as well as sexual assault globally. This will also be used to educate local communities about violence prevention.


Supporting the project doesn’t always require a team effort by groups of fans, as BTS released their first wave of official LOVE MYSELF merchandise in October of 2017, which sold out almost instantly. However, if any fan still wishes to participate in donating to the charity, 3% of physical album sales in the Love Yourself series will go to the LOVE MYSELF campaign, as well as any additional donations going towards #ENDViolence.

As of right now, the LOVE MYSELF campaign has raised over 1,154,593,599 Korean Won (approximately £787,925), as well as the official hashtag #BTSLoveMyself being used on Twitter over 6,777,660 times!
Fans across the world decided to take this campaign by the horns and go above and beyond expectations by contributing to many fundraising projects. Most notably, the Roar For Change project, a collaboration with the Star Wars franchise and UNICEF.  ARMYs tweeted #RoarForChange as every tweet totalled to $1M, the maximum that the project wanted to donate to UNICEF to help deliver food packets to children around the world suffering from malnourishment. The work of ARMYs was highly noticed, so much so that Star Wars featured the hard work on their Twitter page.

But much closer to home, UK ARMYs have worked towards raising money for the cause with a project called UKARMYxUNICEF that includes a wristband and fan project for the London concerts. These purchases include donations of £1.50 for every wristband and fan sold, the project concluded earlier last month with a total number of orders of approximately 900!

We asked the organisers of this project why they decided to do this:

"We designed the Wristband project to commemorate BTS' first London concerts, and more importantly to raise money for their UNICEF campaign #BTSLoveMyself, which is dedicated to ending the suffering of children and teenagers around the world who are in difficult situations.
The response we have had has been amazing and we are so grateful to all of the army who have participated. We can calculate a preliminary total once we've posted the orders we have received. We also hope to sell more bands at the concert, and we will add those profits to our total. Thank you so much ARMY, we purple you 💜" - Cass, Beth & Charlie

With global fundraising and international media swarming around BTS more and more by the day, it’s safe to say that the scale of this hard work by the boys and fans will total in great success for UNICEF and the children and teenagers this is benefiting.


If you cannot make it to a concert this year, please don’t forget to donate to UNICEF, even if it isn’t direct but by buying an album from the Love Yourself series, you’d be helping someone in the world in need, not only making the boys proud by going above and beyond expectation!

Can you believe it? The final instalment of the Love Yourself albums is coming in two weeks, meaning it’s not long until the Love Yourself World Tour will begin! What, you’re not ready? Don’t worry, we aren’t either.

This is why we are here today to show you the best finds this week to get you ready for the best concert(s) ever! This time we will be focusing on some items of clothing that we found that will definitely get you noticed, so get your money at the ready!

Our 1st item is the Jungkook Hawaii Grubby Boy Meme T-shirt from MajorFeelsClub, available from £15.92 (depending on size) plus shipping. 

Now we know what you’re thinking when reading that title, what are you on about?

Remember episode 27 of Run BTS? The members all got T-shirts of Jungkook’s face from their time in Hawaii, where poor Kookie unfortunately managed to get tan lines from where his hat didn’t quite reach.

Now this is usually the time where we would wrap up our best finds but there was just one shirt we couldn’t miss out. When researching into the cutest of clothes for this concert we came across this shirt that we knew would be just perfect for this tour, and so we would like to introduce you to…

Hi everyone, we hope you’re all well!

On September 26th 2017, BTS designed 8 characters known as BT21, and since then we have seen them pop up everywhere! These adorable characters represent the personalities of the boys, as well as Van, who is said to represent the ARMYs supporting BTS, which can change in various ways.

Now we know you must have seen the adverts for pop-up stores and all of the amazing goodies that is really hard to access abroad. Well fear not because we’re here to help you get your BT21 fix.

And so, in this edition we want to show you the three BT21 finds that you need to get right now!!! 

First up are these carefully crafted beautiful cookie cutters of each of the BT21 characters using a 3D printer. These adorable little cutters are all biodegradable and will even cut through the thickness of cookie dough. With options to buy all 8, the 7 characters that represent the members (exc. Van), or even individually; who wouldn’t want to make these little characters and eat them up after?

Though you may feel that the price seems high, please consider that these cutters are made of various different organic ingredients and are made by hand so don’t put them in the dishwasher if you want them to last for a long time! 

After seeing so many posts about people making sweet BT21 treats, we’re so happy to have found these as we aren’t the best at icing, so thankfully these cutters will imprint the design into the mixture meaning you don’t need to worry about icing pipes (unless you really want to, of course!).

Next up we have face masks!

A few months ago Korean beauty company Mediheal collaborated with BT21 to produce a collection of face masks based on the characters that represent the members.

Each of these characters have different purposes depending on their ingredients:- 

Tata’s mask is good especially for bringing a lively glow and energy back to your skin as it contains apple, pomegranate and cabbage rose, which is known to increase vibrancy for tired skin to make you appear much more awake.
RJ’s mask contains tea tree and extracts of propolis, a mixture that is created by honey bees, this mask can be used to help calm tired and sensitive skin to help relax your face back to normality.
Koya’s mask contains sea water and blue sea algae extracts to help provide moisture to your skin, help your skin maintain that hydration, and apply a dewy glow whilst doing so to help rejuvenate dry skin on your face.
Chimmy’s mask contains both Vitamins B and C to help create a clearer and more dewy complexion, for those who have dull skin.
Mang’s mask contains lavender, grape and raspberry extracts to create a fresher, clearer complexion, which claims to provide more life to your skin.
Shooky’s mask contains cacao and rosemary extracts to purify skin and making skin smoother to create a much more radiant finish.
Cooky’s mask which contains Ceramide and Acetyl Hexapeptide-8; two chemicals that can help to moisturise and smoothen skin, whilst also creating a healthy glow that is used to often repair the dullness of tired skin.

And finally we come to our current favourites; these unofficial PVC Charms! We can already hear you squealing over how cute these charms are, and it’s okay because we are too! These adorable charms are 3D and made of PVC, fitted with a strap for your hand, and an optional bell as these characters come in two different designs of each.

Since the exposure of these charms online we have noticed the positive reviews they’ve had not just from ARMYs, but also our colleagues as one of our colleagues instantly bought all 8! Each charm is £2.49 with free delivery from this ebay seller, however as they are manufactured in Hong Kong, it may take a little while for them to arrive, so please be patient with the delivery time! However, with how beautifully designed and crafted they are, it’s definitely worth the wait, right?

The final part of our essentials for school are these adorable pens from OurLostFriend, a shop based in Birmingham that sells sweet and minimal BTS quoted pens from previous song titles to phrases from the boys.

These graphite colour pens have both quotes and the song names from the recent Love Yourself: Tear album, as well as the names of all members, so you can either support your bias or support all seven of them with the simple BTS design! In conjunction to this, these pens are obviously practical but the designs are all engraved, meaning you’re getting a good quality pen that was lovingly handcrafted by a fellow ARMY.
