Having to take a break last month I am back with some more stunning work from our talented ARMY's
Our first piece is this gorgeous edit by @mindales
Next up we have these from Chilean illustrator Mao.
"I mostly draw BTS fan art and I make designs for different merchandise related to kpop. I also help to admin a community of older armys who want to share the BTS love without being discriminated."
Twitter: @mao__chu
Instagram: @mao__chou
Next we have a UK artist/designer, Daisy...
"As an artist I wanted to create a series of drawings inspired by each of the 7 members. These drawings are being sold in my shop and 25% of my monthly BTS product sales will be donated to the UNICEF Love Myself campaign."
Twitter: @Daisy_abena
Instagram: @daisyabenadesign
Etsy shop: DaisyAbenaTextiles
These following 2 pieces are by Raf.
"I recently went back to my first and unconditional love, art, just after graduating. I'm not a full-time artist, but I don't lose hope to make my own job out of it someday. Discovering BTS by chance, whilst listening to BlockB's song, a BTS video kept coming up, and in the end I caved in and started watching them, so I fell into it neck deep. Their music and shows helped me through a very hard moment, so it felt natural to pair them with the only thing that kept me going was painting...and they kind of became my muses."
Twitter: @RetroVirago
The next two J-Hope pieces are by 25yr old Bee; a national art academy graduate from Bulgaria.
"Making art has been my passion and mission since the very beginning, my one true purpose. I faced difficulties and over time I was slowly starting to lose hope, never feeling I was good enough. Until finding Bangtan in 2015, they slowly transformed my perspective on life. Hoseok became my muse, and endless source of inspiration; his hard working, humble and optimistic nature gives me hope and strength."
Twitter: @thewildestbird
Instagram: @thewildestbird
This next piece is the purest and sweetest work I've seen representing Serendipity by @DianaZDance on Twitter. Diana is a self-taught artist from Latvia, whose biggest inspiration is BTS.
"They push me out of my limits and make me want to try out myself in most styles. This time it was chibis, and Serendipity was about exploring feelings, so my art is like next level possibility."
Twitter: @DianaZDance
Tumblr: dianazdanceart
"I discovered BTS in 2015 through their Bangtan Bombs, they had me with their personalities then and the minute I heard their music, read their lyrics that was it for me. With such a powerful message I felt an instant connection. They made me realise that I should fight for my dream, so I picked up my brush and started doing art again."

Our first piece is this gorgeous edit by @mindales
"When I first started editing, I was only seeing it as a way of combining Photoshop practice with my love of being a BTS fan. But I came to realise that it has brought me so much more, as it was constantly fuelling my creative and thinking process. For this edit of Taehyung for example, I had been wanting to make a playing card edit for a long time (probably because I read House of Cards on ao3 not so long ago) but it was not until I came across those beautiful fan site photos that I immediately realised how both concepts could fit together. But first and foremost, my edit account brought me lots of wonderful friendships and interactions. The amount of support that I have been receiving made me realise what an incredible family ARMY is, and that’s what I’m most grateful for."

September 2018
We have some stunning and inspiring work from our Army's this month. Let's just get right into it!
First up we have this gorgeous sketch of Jimin, you can see the process that was uploaded by 22 year old Bella from Singapore. Asked about why they like BTS
"I love their music. I love how their songs are so relatable and comforting. They all also have amazing personalities."

This beautifully delicate overlaid watercolour is by 25 yr old Luli from Brazil.

"I’ve always loved galaxies and milky ways and all about the universe. It's what I’ve been wanting to study hence why I took extra year science and maths. I just realised although I love those starry night skies, I’ve never once painted it. So just out of curiosity and maybe a bit of a coincidence that yesterday was the Serendipity anniversary, I tried to paint the night sky in one of the many beautiful scenes from the MV."

This took about 20 minutes to sketch. "They inspire me everyday to keep going and become a better person."
The finished piece:
The next piece is from @_KiarAka who we have featured before.
"Since I can't stop listening to IDOL, I decided to draw these colourful scenes of our worldwide handsome; together with his beautiful and attractive gaze." 💜

"I got into BTS back in I Need U era and I've been obsessing over them ever since! Their passion inspires me so much, not only for art but also in other life aspects." 💖
Twitter: @artbylul
These next two pieces were created to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of Serendipity.
Inspired by the galaxy scenes from the music video the pieces were painted by Chi who turns 21 next month. A Science and Maths graduate from Saint Lucas Art school they are contemplating their next step in education... Art or Science?

These next two digital art pieces are by 21 year old Kiara, originally from Italy she now lives in Yorkshire.
Twitter: @KawaiiTentacles
"This was an anime piece I did right after the Fake Love comeback because I was feeling so many emotions and had no idea what to do with them. So I decided to turn it into a cool anime scene feat. Yoongi"
"This is my latest. I fell in love with Tae's aesthetic in the IDOL MV and thought he straight up looked like a cute candy anime boy so I decided to express that cuteness onto paper. Digitally." 😂
Our final showstopping piece is by 21 year old Jasmine Roranes from the Philippines.
Twitter: @jasmineroranes
"BTS inspires me because of their passion and excellence in their craft. I admire how much value they put into their work as artists, and how they themselves are reflected in their music. They don’t just make music, too, but they always make sure to create songs and concepts that inspire, encourage & lift others up."
"I am personally encouraged to do better whenever I see how hard they’re working and how excellent they’re doing. Most especially, I love how the boys stay grounded and humble despite the huge popularity that they have right now."
Truly an extraordinary piece of work...
"The string art I created was part of my final requirements before I graduated from college (I took up a 4-year course called Multimedia Arts). My reason for choosing Yeontan as my subject was simple — I am an ARMY who loves dogs (We have 5 at home!)"

The artwork was created on a 4x8-foot 1 inch thick plywood. Made with colorful crochet thread laced through 8 kilos of 2" long nails. It took 12 days to finish the piece.
"At first, I was doing everything by myself but I’m blessed that I had my family and friends, and churchmates help me."

"Everyone says I was being super extra for creating such a huge Yeontan out of nails and strings, but that’s what ARMY is…'extra + ordinary'”
That's all for this month, please come back next month for some more inspiring talented Army's. And if you know anyone who deserves some attention for their work let me know!

"Everything about their music and their general being inspires my work and I really hope that my artwork does the boys’ music and work justice and maybe even brighten or inspire other people, especially my fellow ARMY's"
Next we have Jamie, a Korean American living in Louisiana, USA! "I love BTS and wanted to buy the BT21 merch, but I live nowhere near a Line Friends Store. I thought it would be fun to make the BT21 characters myself!" Still a beginner, it took them 2-3 days to make each character. "RJ took almost double that time due to all his fluff!"
Turning out better than expected they shared pictures on Facebook they received requests to sell them, "so I ended up opening my own Etsy shop." BT21Jams
