Get the Look - Map of the Soul: 7 **Special**

With so many spectacular looks provided by BTS this comeback how could we not bring back our popular Get the Look feature! Our team has been out to shop to find you the best alternatives so that you can recreate your favourite looks from the entire Map of the Soul: 7 comeback... on a budget.

Shadow – Eve Griffiths

Suga’s outfit choices in the Shadow video fit him to a tea.  The look shows both sides of the message Suga is conveying. The light showing  the inocence of his dreams and the dark side bringing out the shadow that has become a part of Suga’s here and now.

Replicate the look here:

Concept Version 1 - Onomey

So the concept photos released for version 1 of Map of the Soul 7 to show the light side of BTS which may be a perfect look to go for if you’re thinking about planning ahead to your summer outfits or are thinking about taking a trip abroad to somewhere sunny.

I’ve included a few different style examples of what they boys are wearing and so you can mix and match what you like best about the listed items below.

Concept Version 2 - Marsha

These looks are inspired by BTS' song 'Black Swan'. We have taken the essence of the silky stage outfits to the embodiment of a black swan herself, complete with feathers for a dramatic yet party going look.

Concept Version 3 - Cheryl

For this particular concept I have chosen the items to compliment the opulence and decadence of the photo.

I particularly like the bow tie and thought it would go well with the satin blouse. The purple blazer was inspired by Jungkook's jacket. I thought the pink wine glasses were so pretty. The shoes and earrings complete the look.

Concept Version 4 - Michayla

The look for yhe 4th concept was a mixture of two looks, because we have the group photo where the members look like extras from the movie 'Grease', and then we have the individual shot where they are in school boy mode. I thought both looks would be fun to recreate and you could certainly dress up or down the leather jacket look.

The school uniform style are a mixture of blazers, jumpers, and cardigans, paired with a shirt and tie, all of which look fantastic on BTS. All 7 outfits were quite different in colour and Jin's gave me Harry Potter vibes. These looks are relatively easy to wear casually, and the possibilities are endless because you could wear trousers, jeans, or perhaps change it up entirely with a skirt. Older ARMYs could style this look for work.

One of the great things about the leather jacket look is that you could add a splash of colour to the black and white by choosing a bold purple bag or accessories. There are many options once you have the basic items. The best thing about concept 4 is the fact that there are so many ways you can take this look and make it your own, pretty much as each member appears to have done in the individual shots.

ON: Kinetic Manifesto Film - Eve

This film behind the look is all about comfort when pushing your body to extremes and looking ready for the catwalk all at the same time.

Relaxed fit cargo trousers, washed out denim jackets, and chunky chains all come together to create an amazing high power look.

EGO –  Eve Griffiths
Ego opens with a relaxed J-Hope dressed in baggy ripped jeans and an oversized slouchy white jumper.  The real thing can easily be replicated with a bit of DIY, with these amazing personalised felt letters that can be used to create your favourite design.
J-Hope’s jacket in the EGO logo has a Chanel feel and so does this SHEIN alternative.
Finishing off the look is the stand out piece of the statement suit jacket, covered in sequins creating an eye-catching look.

We hope you like the suggestions by the team, and look forward to seeing your recreations. Why not reply with a pic on twitter?
