K-Pop Fair

On Sunday 25th November, there was a K-Pop fair at O2 Academy Islington, in London, hosted by the awesome Radio Kimchi.  They’re a great bunch of people with a passion for K-Pop and spreading its message.

I was lucky enough to be one of the sellers at the fair, so I arrived a few hours before the buyers arrived to set up my table. It was cool to meet so many other people, selling lots of really great stuff. It was difficult to resist buying a whole bunch of merch!

When the doors opened, it was all systems go! There was a rush of people, all keen to get their hands on some goods! It was lovely to talk to a lot of them, in between sales. It was incredible hearing how people had got into K-Pop; it was just lovely to see so many people enthusiastic about the same thing I loved, all at once, all in the same place.

It was vibrant, energetic and lots of fun. Some people would dance along to the songs playing in the background. It was like a massive K-Pop party!

I wish I had taken more pictures, interacted with more people, but it was a wonderful day and I couldn’t have asked for more! Congratulations to Kayleigh and the team for an amazing success!

We hope you enjoyed this article. If you have any stories you'd like to tell ARMY's about or are holding any k-pop related events why not tell us about them.
